Program Overview
PRF's Community Health Initiatives bring preventive care, health awareness, and wellness programs to underserved communities across Pakistan. We believe that education and health go hand in hand. Healthy communities create the foundation for students to thrive.
Our programs include health awareness campaigns, free medical screening camps, hygiene and nutrition workshops, and referrals to local healthcare providers. We focus especially on areas where PRF scholars and their families live.
By partnering with local medical professionals, community leaders, and volunteer networks, PRF delivers practical health education that families can act on immediately. Not just information, but real support at the community level.
Regular health awareness sessions in schools, mosques, and community centres covering topics such as nutrition, maternal health, disease prevention, and mental wellness.
Free basic health screenings, blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and general check-ups, with follow-up guidance and referrals for those who need further care.
PRF works with local communities to understand the most pressing health challenges, whether chronic disease awareness, maternal care, or hygiene education.
Health initiatives are tailored to each community's context, partnering with qualified medical volunteers and using culturally appropriate materials.
PRF runs screening camps, awareness sessions, and wellness workshops, following up with participants who need further medical attention or ongoing support.
We track participation, gather feedback, and refine programs so each initiative delivers lasting benefit to the communities we serve.
